About Me
Hi, I’m Rocco Filippini, a business professional with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and a minor in Business Analytics. I’m currently pursuing my MBA at the University of Nevada, Reno, where I’m sharpening my skills in business strategy, innovation, and decision-making.
Professionally, I’ve built a hands-on mix of experience across marketing operations, graphic design, web management, SEO, and social media. I’ve led end-to-end execution for real campaigns and programs, from designing polished handouts and event materials, to building cohesive visual systems that stay consistent across channels, to planning and publishing content for Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn, to photographing events and capturing candid moments that feel authentic. At a core level, my life’s calling is making things pretty, this means work that is high-quality, visually unique, and genuinely interesting. I care about perfection. I care about taste. I care about making things that look insanely good, not generic.
Outside of work and school, I’m deeply creative and genuinely curious. I spend a lot of time drawing and painting, shooting film photography, woodworking, baking, casting jewelry, folding origami, and making and smoking handmade tobacco pipes. I’m equally happy thrifting and antiquing, building an interesting drink at home, driving, listening to vinyl, hiking, traveling, or going to a rave. I lift weights, shoot bows, and unwind by playing Minecraft with my girlfriend. I also like going down research rabbit holes and reading papers when something grabs my attention.
If you’re looking for someone who can execute clean, high-quality marketing work, think strategically, and bring real personality and range to a team, I’d love to connect.
